Operational Hours Update Effective July 1 with FAQ’s

A Goodwill donation attendant accepts a bag of donated items from a donor. The text "new operating hours" sits between them.

Operating hours are being updated for all Goodwill Northern New England retail stores, donation centers and Buy The Pound outlets!

In an effort to bring more consistency to our customers and employees, we’re simplifying things. Effective Monday, July 1, Goodwill NNE hours are as follows:

Stores: Monday-Sunday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

Donation Centers: Monday-Sunday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

Buy the Pound outlets: Monday-Sunday, 7 a.m.-4 p.m.

We’re making this change to better serve our customers. To show you how, here’s some answers to some frequently asked questions:

How is this bringing more consistency to Goodwill NNE’s operation?
All Goodwill NNE stores will now have the same hours, and the donation centers will be open at the same time as the stores. We will no longer have changes for winter and summer hours.

How will this improve Goodwill NNE’s operation?
By aligning our employee’s schedules, we can improve the volume and quality of the merchandise in our stores. We will also be able to better manage our processes and improve waste diversion.

Will this change take hours away from employees?
More employees will be in the stores during hours of operation, strengthening our teams productivity and making up for the decrease in open hours.

We thank you for your support through this adjustment, and welcome your feedback during the transition. Please reach out to info@goodwillnne.org if you have further questions or concerns.
