A Goal Met and a Path Forward: Introducing our 2025 Annual Report
April 20, 2026

Guided by purpose and powered by community, 2025 was a year of meaningful progress that opened new possibilities across Goodwill Northern New England.
We are proud to share our 2025 Annual Report, which captures the full scope of our impact this year and the communities we serve. Together with our staff, partners, donors, and supporters, we helped more than 10,000 people move into personal stability, reaching a bold 10-year goal two years early.
Across Maine, New Hampshire, and northern Vermont, more than 11,000 people accessed workforce programs, supportive services, and employment opportunities through Goodwill NNE. From high school students discovering their first career possibilities to adults rebuilding after setbacks to employees finding support for challenges that reach far beyond the workplace, Goodwill NNE met people where they were and helped them move forward.
“The impact grows when we design systems around people, not programs,” said Tripp Harrison, President and CEO. “We strengthened our workforce and life navigation programs, deepened employer partnerships, and aligned services to meet people where they are. We learned that stability is built when employment, support services, and dignity come together.”
A Message of Gratitude and Vision
As Board President Andy Mayo shares in the report, the impact achieved in 2025 represents what can happen when mission, strategy, and community come together.
“The progress we saw this year demonstrates the power of partnership and thoughtful planning,” Mayo said. “As a Board, we are committed to stewarding an organization that listens closely to its communities, adapts to changing needs, and stays focused on relevance, sustainability, and lasting impact.”
Together, leadership and staff are guided by a shared vision for the future, rooted in access to opportunity, meaningful work, and strong community connections across Northern New England.
2025 Impact Highlights
This year translated into real, meaningful action across our organization and region:
- 10,000+ people reached personal stability, fulfilling a 10-year organizational goal two years ahead of schedule
- 11,283 people supported across Maine, New Hampshire, and northern Vermont through our mission services
- CARF Three-Year Accreditation, the organization’s highest level of recognition, for Community Employment Services
- 65+ Millions of pounds of goods donated by our community
- $70+ million in economic impact generated throughout our Northern New England territory
- $915,771 in philanthropic support, including contributions from individual donors, foundations, corporate partners, and more than 1 million customer round‑ups at the register
Behind every number is a person, a story, and a community strengthened through work.
This Is Just the Beginning
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, Goodwill Northern New England remains focused on building responsive workforce solutions, expanding supportive services, strengthening partnerships with employers, and investing in strategies that help communities adapt and grow through work.
None of this is possible without our community. Every donation dropped off, every purchase made, every dollar rounded up at the register, and every partner organization helps make this work possible. Behind each of those moments is someone who needed the right door to open at the right time. These are neighbors, coworkers, and community members who found the right support when it mattered most. Through the power of work, those moments become new possibilities that strengthen the communities we call home.
