About Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
We’re looking for caring people to help the people who live in our residential homes. Direct Support Professionals care for people with disabilities. This could include helping cook meals, household upkeep, helping participants with personal hygiene and interpersonal skills, as well as transporting them to community events.
Goodwill NNE has 18 homes for adults with disabilities, plus LifeWorks – enriching day programming for adults. Those homes and programs wouldn’t exist without hundreds of kind direct support professionals who care for the safety, development and happiness of the people we serve.
No experience needed – we provide PAID training!
Direct Support Professionals do not need any special training before they are hired, Goodwill will provide certification trainings upon hire. There are several levels of this position, which means there is room for growth within Goodwill.
