Announcing an exciting investment in our mission

Goodwill NNE recently was awarded a significant grant to support our mission. We are humbled by this investment and belief in our work by author and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott.

This gift will help us advance our mission to help people achieve personal stability in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. We do that through holistic workforce programming that helps people get job training and career placements, healthcare service programs for adults with disabilities, and neurorehabilitation services for people living with brain injury. People who are unemployed, underemployed, recovering from addiction, re-entering society, or who just need a little additional support figuring out their life plan find help at Goodwill.

This gift will support all of that work. 

In April, we’ll be completing our strategic planning for the next three years and are excited to share our plans for this investment and our overall agency priorities at that time. We are humbled by this investment and belief in our work, and we are taking the necessary time to be thoughtful about the greatest leverage we can achieve across our three-state, multi-programmed territory.
