A woman with her two young children in a Goodwill store

Your generosity isn’t just a donation; it’s a lifeline that strengthens our neighbors lives and boosts our local economies.

We have witnessed people find and keep personal stability when barriers like access to education, childcare, or workforce services are addressed head on. Together, we will do just that. Your gift helps pay for things like work clothes, trainings, car repairs, and so much more.

You are the driving force behind everything possible at Goodwill, and we’re so grateful for your generosity. Thank you so much for your gift!

Your generosity helps neighbors build a stable life through work, re-learn how to walk after a brain injury, keep residents in staffed homes healthy and independent, and so much more.

Will and estate gifts

Will and estate gifts, also known as “planned giving” or “legacy gift”, are donations realized at the time of the donor’s death as a part of their will and estate plans. Gifts such as stocks and bonds, real estate, retirement assets, cash or life insurance are all assets that can be designated to Goodwill NNE in your will.

The easiest way to name Goodwill NNE as a beneficiary in your will and estate plans is to include language such as: “I give, devise and bequeath (indicate specific amount of money, proportionate share of estate, specific property, or remainder) to Goodwill Industries of Northern New England of Gorham, Maine.” We encourage you to consult your attorney or financial advisor to determine which charitable giving options may fit into your will and estate plans.
